I love the store now and especially after I bought my dream gun from them. I bought a Steyr AUG from them and they honored the online price. Spoke to the owner in the back on an offer for my firearms and got one number, get to the counter and the sons want to change the number. Not good business, could I have argued and got the original deal? Sure. Is that honest of the “buyer”? No. Won’t be getting my business ever again.

Avoid Selling Your Guns Here – A Complete Waste of Time! I strongly advise against selling your firearms to this shop. This was, without a doubt, one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a business. About a month before my visit, I called to ask if they buy gun collections, as my father had recently passed and left behind about 30 firearms. They confirmed they do. I flew from Florida to Austin to meet my brother, and we spent half the day carefully organizing the collection. Before heading to the shop, I called again to double-check, and once again, they assured me they were buying. When we arrived, we were taken to the back room to meet with old man McBride. He asked a series of random questions, mentioned that the gun market was “soft,” but said they would still assess the collection and make an offer. We spent over two hours laying out every firearm while they went through each one creating their offer. Finally, they presented an offer, and my brother and I agreed to it. Just when we thought we were wrapping up, they called us back and said McBride wanted to speak with us again. That’s when he told us they couldn’t actually go through with the offer—because it was “the first of the month and they didn’t have the money.” Instead of being upfront and saving us hours of wasted time, they had us go through the entire process just to back out at the last minute. It was a complete waste of time and an incredibly frustrating experience. If you’re looking to sell firearms, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Read the other reviews—you’ll see this place has a pattern of unprofessionalism. They don’t have the money to buy, and they’ll string you along anyway. Avoid at all costs!

This review is for the coin shop. The folks that on the coin shop are extremely helpful and always very free with information. Every time I’ve had a business transaction with them it has been very fair and even handed. They close at three in the afternoon, which is sometimes a problem, but they’ve been around since I was a kid so I don’t fault them for wanting to go home a little early. I definitely recommend buying or selling coins here. The gun shop is great too.
