If you are a big movie person, you have to come to this theater. They have a good selection of movies that are not usually screening in typical theater. The tickets are fairly affordable especially if you have the membership which is only 5 dollars per month. There’s also a lot of fun bars around, so it’s a good option for a date night as well.

I arrived 20 mins late to a screening of Blue Sun Palace (my own fault, had a breakdown trying to navigate the subway) and so when I arrived I was told that they stop letting people in 10 mins after starting, which I understood. However, the woman working the desk told me that there was a later showing and that I could have the last seat free of charge, and mentioned that there would be a Q&A with the director and main actors of the film afterwards. Was so so grateful as they definitely didn’t have to offer me this! Overall it’s also just a really lovely cinema :)

Booked this cinema on a rainy day in NYC. Its voted one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world. I loved the balcony seating and old fashioned feel of this cinema. Easy to book a ticket online for 17 dollars which seems average. On arrival I showed my ticket on my phone, it was all very easy and the staff were very friendly, pleasant and welcoming. A few negatives were that the bar doesn't open until the evening meaning afternoon movies can only be enjoyed with a soft drink. No big deal but would be nice if they had a small selection of alcoholic beverages available. But more disappointing was that you also couldn't get a hot drink. Just cold drinks and snacks. You can take your own drinks in so I got a hot drink from a nearby cafe that was kindly recommended by the staff. Also I found the cinema was too cold so I had to keep my coat on. Should be heated better on cold, wet days. Despite the few points above I really enjoyed the film and my visit to this cinema. The staff are great and add to the whole experience. People had mentioned uncomfortable seats but I found them to be completely comfortable, no recline but really comfortable still. I would visit here again and recommend to my colleagues also.
