I made the mistake of placing an online order for pickup here. I used a $5 voucher from my rewards account and after I had made my purchase realized I missed a 35% off online coupon. At pickup, I asked if we could retroactively apply this coupon to my order. The cashier said yes, but we would need to initiate a refund first and start over. I said this was fine, as long as I could still use the voucher I had used originally. Then, the cashier backpedaled and said it was only for online orders, which I showed her it specifically said online AND pickup orders. She again ignored this. I asked when my voucher would be returned to my account since they had just refunded my purchase and wasted it for me. They said 48 hours. Frustrated and upset, I said I guess I’d have to go home then. The cashier laughed at me, even though it was her fault refunding the purchase and not paying any attention to the actual situation at hand—leaving me empty handed despite my special long distance trip out for this specific item. Completely unacceptable behavior and sad excuse for customer service. No wonder craft stores are closing nationwide in favor for online retailers. Also, I refuse to believe that your supervisor was unable to do any kind of work on her end to try and help me out with this coupon. On top of this, didn’t even mention “why not instead use the in store 30% now?” At this point, I’ll never return to this location for how poorly they handled a simple request.

I went to this store to get quotes on custom framing for a few items I’m gifting. I had planned to go elsewhere but wanted to see my options in person. But when Will started helping me I was SOLD! Will was helpful, nice, and gave me ideas I hadn’t even considered (and I’d consider myself a skilled creative). He gave me the option to layer different frames which I never knew existed! He also offered his design opinion while being transparent about pricing with each option. I was also very indecisive but never felt rushed to make a decision. Will exceeded my expectations and made my experience a 10/10! ⭐️ I can’t wait for the results!

I had a very frustrating experience with this store. I placed an order through the Michaels app for delivery via Uber. The Uber driver didn’t speak very good English, which made communication difficult, but he was doing his best. When I called the store for help, the manager, Johnny, was extremely rude and dismissive over the phone. Instead of offering assistance or helping to resolve the issue, he made the situation worse with his attitude. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and really disappointing coming from Michaels.
