I’ve been to many camera stores around the US- Mike’s in Boulder impressed me with their full range of services, plenty of parking, and best of all- very helpful staff with a smile! Beck in the printing department was superb! He helped me on two separate visits with questions related to printing my images. He’s patient, knowledgeable and it’s evident he loves what he does. The manager was also very kind and helpful! I will however say that another employee (Bill) was unfortunately not displaying a customer friendly and welcoming attitude…perhaps he just had a bad day…

During last minute planning for a destination wedding, Mikes camera shop in Boulder printed high quality enlargements mounted on stiff paperboard for display. Customer service to help me figure out how to use their store editing computer was outstanding. 4 months later the same staff helped me with the editing computer again and I ordered wedding photo enlargements. The gentleman who helped me with the editing machine was again extremely patient (I am 67 years old and not a natural w it). So to top off the customer service, an error on MY part with a zip code (error) sent the photos to the wrong address. I live several thousand miles away and followed the tracking provided and saw the error. Mikes camera shop reprinted the large order THAT day, the manager contacted me repeatedly to tell me what was happening and when it mailed. It will be arriving soon. Family lives in Boulder and I will do all my photography business when visiting, and now from away on line.

They reached out personally, found one in stock, and had it shipped out the same day. Their communication was super helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. If I could, I’d rate this place a zero. From prices that are unreasonable to particular staff that is there to play games on their phone. I have never found a camera shop like this to be so repulsive. I’m a photographer/videographer that had an interaction with a staff member with a clean shaven head. Completely stoic and rude, he came at me with an attitude as if I slapped his wife across the face. And when I asked him to clarify on a certain policy, he “kindly” asked me to leave. Note: this review does not reflect on the staff that has been helpful and kind. Just the interactions that involve mentioned staff member. Please don’t give your business to these people.

Had a great experience today getting a last-minute Mother’s Day gift matted and dry mounted. Krystal in custom framing was super-helpful and friendly!
