I got my nails done August 7th and by August 8th the chrome already came off and black was showing underneath. I asked the technician Helen initially to not use black because I was afraid this could happen and she assured me it would be fine. The next day when I was on my trip out of the city, the chrome came off, showing black on my nails. I come back the next week after my trip to get them redone already confirming I would come in at 5pm and I get a text at 4:53pm asking if they could push it to later because they’re running behind. I’m 5 minutes away. I end up waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time for a different technician just for her to botch my nails. Inserting all the photos here. It sucks having this turned on myself because “I didn’t want to wait” for my technician. I wasn’t even told this till after an after the new tech finished. Mind you I saw my first tech the whole time up until I finished working on someone else? 😭 I asked if I can just get a refund for the $25 design and $15 chrome and she said no because it’s not in their policy. At this point I just want it done right, my refund and to go somewhere else get these taken off. I’m then told I can wait 1 hour to get my OG tech to redo it. This is the 3rd time. I leave 35 minutes away driving over an hour each time payed $55 for a fill + $25 design + 15+ chrome…$95 + tip over an hour car rides here + 5 hours in the salon total. Just to do a design I’ve had done before at this exact studio which is why I’m confused as to why they’re making excuses about my nails having to be good enough? When prior they never chipped and I loved them so much I wanted to get them again. I’ve been coming here for 2+ years and have brought over 5+ friend to get pedicures, my boyfriend twice, and referred friends who have gone here after my recommendation. It’s seriously so disappointing to be treated like this and to have everyone upset with you the customer when you’re paying over $100 for a service that’s supposed to be relaxing, fun and self care. First tech was Helen. Second tech was the manager with the short bob And the receptionist is the girl with the long ponytail always wearing the headphones

My nails are the longest and healthiest they have ever been and I ALWAYS receive so many compliments on them. The staff are all the best and always take amazing care of you and pay attention to every detail. My long term nail technician is out of town on an extended vacation. I tried another salon, snd wasnt thrilled with the results. I was referred to Mission Nails and Spa by my hairstylist. They took me as a walk in right away. Layla did my full with gel color, and Mimi did my gel polish pedicure (which was wonderfully relaxing). Absolutely fantastic! They were quick, but listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. My nails turned out perfectly, and I'm pretty exacting. I 100% would recommend them, and I will be back (with an appointment next time).
