My boyfriend and I came in just to tour the Moody Family YMCA and were immediately impressed thanks to Katherine, who guided us around. She was so kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She answered every question we had with ease. We were still in the process of checking out other gyms, but her professionalism and warmth made our decision easy, and we ended up signing up on the spot! I’ve also loved working with Gianna during personal training. Her passion for fitness is infectious, and she made every session feel both productive and enjoyable. This would be a 5-star review, but I was disappointed by the limited cycling class options and the technical difficulties I experienced. I did attend Angela D’s 8:15am class, she was incredibly kind and helped set me up properly, but the microphone wasn’t working, and even from the front row I had trouble hearing instructions.

Great community place to work out. They keep it up with new equipment, repairs, gym floor resurfacing, pool work on a regular basis. Also love how they support community charitable needs.

I really love this gym! There's a great variety of machines, and it's usually not overly crowded, plus the staff is super friendly. My only two complaints are: sometimes there are a lot of teenage boys who lack spatial awareness and gym etiquette (I know it’s a YMCA, but it can still be a bit much), and I wish there was a cable machine with both a pulldown and row function like you’d find in most commercial gyms.

I took some swimming classes for my 5 years old daughter and I was totally shocked. My daughter had to change her clothes at Women’s restroom with a big boy( he looked 5 years old or so).I was with my daughter at Women’s restroom when another woman with her boy came and started to change his clothes, she said her big boy is a kid and it’s ok to change his clothes there. The manager said it’s OK by their policy. The management is fine to let boys and girls to see each other naked it’s what I understood. I asked those woman why she doesn’t use family restroom and she told me that her boy is a kid and its ok to change his clothes in women’s restroom. If I knew it before I would never ever come to this place.I had to cancel my membership. If you don’t want your daughter to go through it don’t come here, save your time and check another places.
