Updated October 2022 Great gem of a club in the north part of the city. I hope they keep the maintenance up its showing some wear and tear. I also hope they can find more reliable workers to handle check in. They are having trouble finding people to work and sometimes the check in desk is unmanned. There is a an office across the parking lot you can knock firmly on that door there is always someone on there out of sight. Overall the Tennis Center is amazing. Great job by the City of Miami and the Parks and Recreation Department. The courts are well planned out with beautiful landscaping and modern look and feel. Afterwork hours get quite busy so come early if you want to get a tennis court. If you come around 7:55pm you might be able to snag a court on first come first serve basis as the court attendant leaves at 8pm. But there is no guarantee players won't stay on the their court overtime but the good new is there is no charge for that hour.

Really enjoyed playing and training here... Courts are in great shape and they have been recently resurfaced. The court fees are very low and there is plenty of space and activity to do around the center. The waterfront is very close as well.

Think Twice Before Choosing These Courts for Regular Play I’ve played here four times, and even within those four visits, I’ve compiled a list of significant drawbacks. Cons: • You pay based on the number of people on the court, not for the court itself. • There’s no option to reserve a court, even same-day. • Each time you pay $6, you must provide an ID or photo. • According to their rules, you’re only allowed a maximum of six balls on the court. If you exceed this limit, expect your game to be interrupted and be asked to collect and hide the extra balls. • If someone from your group is late and plans to pay at the end of the game, your session will be interrupted. They will insist that the payment and ID check happen immediately. • Forget your balls or racket? They don’t offer hourly rentals for equipment. • Operating hours are only until 6 PM. This means you need to completely vacate the court by 5 PM. Pros: • The court surface is decent. • Free parking. • Membership options are available. • Coaches are offered. Conclusion: If you plan to play here once or twice a year as an exception, it’s fine. However, for regular play, I wouldn’t recommend these courts. The service is inflexible and not customer-oriented. It seems that their pricing doesn’t include any regard for the customer experience.

Did someone lose a bird in this area? He was really nice and drank water from my hand. I brought him to a woman in the neighbor who had bird experience.
