Really fun bouldering gym with a small area for warming up/working out (resistance bands, pull up bar, hang boards, mats) and a few indoor and outdoor tables to sit and play games/read/study if you like to mix your work and play. The walls themselves have a good mix of slab, vert, and overhang, no cave. The route setting is really fun and interesting, a good mix of challenging and achievable moves :) Gender neutral bathrooms and the drinking fountain has a water bottle refill station. The staff is super helpful and kind.

High quality sets, and good staff support and community. The gym, however, is a bit small and a tad bit dusty, and route grading is a little bit inconsistent. Overall a good time

Fantastic; loads of engaging and inspiring boulders. Masterclass in stacking holds and blockers. Only $10 first time day pass. Love it

Nice place for hanging out with friends and indoor climbing! 🧗🏻 They also have patio with WiFi and the table for students to do their work ^ ^ P.s. you can rent their climbing shoes and chalk, but you can also bring your own!

Fair warning to newbies, the walls are not set out for you. There were only three routes easily in my skill level and one or two that pushed me. It’s small so I understand but this could use some work. I would love it if they put more love into catering to different skill levels. Especially since there’s no rating system for the routes. You can’t beat the price but without any other facilities and pretty small total area of climbable walls, this doesn’t seem like somewhere I’d recommend for membership for those who are just getting started. This is a very fun place to bring friends for casual climbing but definitely come through early or late to miss the student rush. Facilities are very clean and price is incredibly fair so there are pros and cons for sure

The presence of a retail corner for climbing gear means you can pick up or replace worn equipment on site, perfect for both newbies and enthusiasts. Complementing the physical facilities is a philosophy that celebrates the Berkeley spirit—owners are deeply connected to the local scene and the university, excited to foster a climbing culture among the young and ambitious.
