The Motoquest experience and team were great! The ride (Portland, OR to Anchorage, AK one way) was fantastic. I’d not been on a long ride like that before and I had a lot of fun. The pickup in Portland went smooth. The guys in Portland were rather helpful, pointing out different routes and different sites to see on the way up. The bikes (1250 GS's) ran well and we had no issues with them at all. Turn-in in Anchorage was really quick and easy too. The guys there offered us some food/beverages but we had just eaten so we didn’t take them up on the offer. It would have been helpful if the bikes had cruise control, OEM or otherwise (or even throttle locks). We bought throttle locks before we left but cruise would have been better. It also would have been nice to have the 12V DIN cigarette plug adapter provided as well. All this was conveyed to us before we picked up the bikes so it wasn’t a surprise but for the cost of the rental, I think those things could have been provided. All in all, the experience was great. I’d rent again. We appreciated the extra time Motoquest allowed us to execute our trip, as well. We planned on going last year but…COVID.

Phenomenal experience from pre-trip communications all the way to dropping off the bike for the return. Dax & Neil (Neal?) Were professional and courteous over the phone and in person. Every detail of the rental is made crystal clear from the first day you call them. They're happy to recommend a few of their favorite roads and help tweak your solo trip route. Bike was pristine and ready at the scheduled pickup time. Performed beautifully on these gorgeous paved WA / OR roads and some hardpack/gravel. Hands down would rent here again and their other locations. Thanks, team.

We rented a pair of 1250GS' for 8 days for a northwest road trip. The team at MotoQuest was awesome - communicative and responsive during the reservation process, making that easy. Once we arrived in Portland to pick up, the bikes were ready and the team walked us through them. They also spent time with us sharing some great roads to add to our agenda. We returned them in San Francisco and had an equally easy time there. We got there a little early to allow time to unpack/repack into our travel bags and once we brought the bikes in it was a quick and easy return. The shop offered to let us keep our bags there while we explored the Bay Area for the day. I recommend them to anyone traveling the West coast. To top it all off, their prices were great!

Rented two GS750s for a tour up the Gorge on the south side of the Columbia River using Rt 30, lunch in Cascade Locks then crossed over for a return on HWY 14, great way to pass the day with a buddy and we didn't have to buy bikes! Great crew at the shop, great service and attitudes.
