We came here after the Lake City Summer Festival parade yesterday — it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I’ve been here before and loved the grilled live tilapia. This time we tried the Boiling Fish, beef brisket, and green peppercorn chicken — everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The owner’s family was also helping out with serving, cashiering, and cleaning, which gave the place a really warm, homey feeling. A great experience as always!

It's appetizing to look at it, and it tastes great. Bamboo shoots bacon, chewy with authentic bacon flavor. Perilla fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I ordered medium-spicy, which is quite suitable for my taste. Scallion roll is also a good noodle. Thank!!!

Nice establishment. Service is good and polite. Noodles had great texture and flavor. Pan fried buns were okay, but BBQ pork buns were pretty good and soup dumplings were great. Average prices.

We recently visited Mount & Bao and left with mixed impressions. To start, we tried the Hot and Sour Soup, which, while offering familiar flavors, stood out for its generous portion size at just $3.99. It was a satisfying and value-packed appetizer. For the main course, we opted for two combo plates—one with Sesame Chicken and another with General Tso's Chicken. Unfortunately, despite being different dishes, they were visually indistinguishable and tasted almost identical. The flavors were mild, and while they weren’t unpleasant, they didn’t leave a memorable impression either—just average. The service was generally good, though the ordering process might not suit everyone. Orders are placed using a QR code on your phone, which some might find a bit confusing or cumbersome. In summary, Mount & Bao is an option if you’re looking for value and convenience, but the overall dining experience was underwhelming in terms of flavor and uniqueness.

had a takeaway order in which i ordered the wonton soup, but i found a chunk of plastic in it, as well as something crunchy in the dumpling. also ordered steam pork dumplings, it’s pretty good, overall not satisfied with the soup dish but would order the dumplings again. the lady at the restaurant was very friendly, seemed to have a good atmosphere in there. also didn’t receive any utensils even though i asked for them
