I visited the Moxie's in Uptown Dallas for my last night in the city, and the vibe was definitely different from the one in Plano. This location has a more business-professional feel, with a crowd of real estate agents, nurses, and colleagues winding down after work for happy hour. It’s a great spot for locals and visitors alike. We had a group of six and were seated by the window entrance, just as people were starting to trickle in. At first, the service was fantastic—our server was attentive and quick to take drink orders. But within about 20 minutes, things started to slide. We hadn’t seen our server for a while, and our table was filled with dirty dishes. We also needed refills, and one of my friends was still waiting on his food to be corrected. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including: Salmon salad Steak salad Caesar salad Beef tips French onion soup Brussels sprouts with tomatoes Everything was tasty, and the food was good overall, but the service was a letdown as things got busier. By the time we were ready to leave, the place was packed and getting quite loud. Overall, I’d say Moxie’s is a solid spot with great food, but the service definitely needs some consistency

I had heard mixed reviews about Moxies but I still wanted to try it. I personally enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I was craving something heavier and decided to go with a chicken sandwich, and it was good! I was hesitant at first, but I’m glad I made that choice. The poutine was also pretty good. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. I did go on a friday evening around 5, and I was able to be seated immediately. As far as parking , I was able to get my ticket validated (parked in the garage).

I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great food and a nice aesthetic/atmosphere! My friends and I came here after a failed attempt somewhere else and we were not disappointed, our needs were exceedingly met! Our waitress Unique made our experience even more memorable with her attentiveness, suggestions and kind personality. She made sure we were adequately taken care of and didn’t miss a beat. It was also nice that the manager came and made sure that we were satisfied and let us know he was here if we needed anything. Not to mention the food was exquisite! overall a 10/10 experience. Thankyou again Moxies, I will definitely be back .

We came on a whim late at night. I felt underdressed but the staff here were still very accommodating. They gave us a great table and service. The food was amazing. They have a great vegetarian menu.

I visited Moxies for the first time on a Saturday. The initial greeting from the staff was warm, friendly, and professional. The only issues that I had was our waitress had a large party seated in her section towards the end of our meal and she seemed a bit overwhelmed and it was difficult attracting her attention to pay our bill. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill and we were only a party of two, which seemed unusual. The addition was also questionable considering the service was not consistent to the end of our dining experience. I ordered the Mahi Mahi which was well seasoned, but a bit overcooked.
