Last month in June, I did a tour at Encore Event Center. I worked with a gentleman named Peter Charles. He seemed to be friendly, but very fast talking and very salesy. Sad to say I fell for the okey-doke! We were made to believe that they are completely booked up all the way till 2027 and the only way to possibly book the date we were interested in was to pay $1000 booking deposit. He also quoted us $15,000 for an all-inclusive package, which is a great deal, but we noticed him changing the numbers on the quote to get it to equal a certain amount which we thought was a little bit shady. other venues we viewed, it was cut and dry what their cost was and what each element costs. Anyways, we put down the deposit because we were told that we have two weeks to decide and we did not see any harm in holding our date while we figured out what we were doing. Fast-forward only 4 days later, we decided not to go with them because we found a venue we loved with staff that were very transparent. It took me three days to get a response from Peter to get a refund. He only wanted to do things on the phone, he avoided trying to text me details. But I wanted things in writing. he called me and dropped our package down to $10,000! Because he didn’t want us to cancel. I thought that was interesting that he was able to cut our price down so easily within seconds down to 10,000. That shows me he was just trying to make a sale instead of genuinely helping us on the biggest day of our lives. He told me it would be 10 business days to get my refund. I waited 10 business days and never seen a refund. I even have text messages of him telling me that I’ll get a confirmation once the refund is processed. He absolutely confirmed that my refund was on the way. So after 10 business days,. I then called the venue and spoke with Maria. She told me Peter never requested my refund or never notated that I wanted a refund! Sounds like he was trying to run the clock out on my two week grace period. It’s now been a month and I’m still going back-and-forth with them and now taking legal action. I just wanted to share my experience with anyone considering Encore Event Center. They are definite scammers. Not to mention, the venue itself was messy, the floors creaked , everything was outdated and tacky. He was trying to offer us the tiniest room for 140 people. There was no way we could fit 140 people in that space. While I’m excited to plan my wedding and create the most beautiful day of my life, it’s starting out so dampend and dark because of Encore Event Center. Nobody has reached out to me, I still have not gotten a refund after a month. I have no confirmation emails that this has been worked on. It has been an absolute nightmare! I’ve worked in customer service over 10+ years. Nobody has tried to check in on me and make sure I’m OK or needed anything or communicated that things were in process etc. It’s like crickets over there. Do not waste your time!

We had a blast!! The Myst Hall was perfect for our breast cancer teams Halloween party. Matrix the Manager/Maintenance guy, Leo & Claire in the office, our awesome bartender and Security, were all fabulous to work with!! Would definitely have another event here. Would have given 5 stars but the photo booth kept going out & it was supposed to email us our pics with our Team name acrossthe bottom. But we still had fun with it, and it was fun getting the photo strips, very nostalgic 😁.

My wife and I just had our wedding at Encore Event Center. The prices were reasonable, it wasn't hard to keep contact with the site coordinators, and the wedding was absolutely beautiful thanks to the decor work the staff put in. With the exception of their Head of Security whom I have problems with his actions- the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing. Their lead chef in the kitchen was am absolute delight, the site supervisor was a pleasure to work with, and their in-house bartender was amazing. Even the general staff for both kitchen and maintenance were pleasant and helpful. So with the exception of their head of security whom I've already informed management privately the issues we had, I'm happy to absolutely refer people to Myst. There is one very important note everyone renting for a wedding needs to be aware of. The bridal suite also houses the manager offices. Please take that into account, and make sure that the brides maids will be given privacy to change.

We had our daughter's Sweet 16 party at Myst on January 20th. We couldn't have been happier!! The venue decorations were perfect for a masquerade party and the staff went WELL above and beyond our expectations!! Everyone there did everything they could to make this a special evening for my daughter and make it easy on us! The food was amazing and the DJ was awesome! Thank you Claire, Leo, and ALL of the staff for helping us celebrate this special occasion!

A rental hall located in the Encore Event Center. Seriously a great Hall to rent for a kids party, fun birthday, dance party, Halloween party or a unique affair! The walls having you feeling like you're in the midst of a forest. Amazing lighting! A great DJ makes this place awesome! Great for a Jurassic Park or Fairy themed party, dinner party for Firefighters, Wiccan get together, Halloween wedding, mascaraed event, Harry Potter night or tween night club party.
