Nagomiya, located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta at 1010 West Peachtree Street NW, stands out as an exceptional spot to meet up with friends for an intimate and serene dining experience. The restaurant, helmed by Takashi Otsuka—who also owns Wagaya and Chirori—is designed as an oasis, aptly reflected in its name which means 'house of tranquility.' What makes Nagomiya a great place to gather is its slower-paced, refined atmosphere that contrasts with the typical fast dining scene, encouraging guests to relax and savor each moment. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. When I sat down I was met and was told about specials.... I simply said, give me two great rolls, nothing different and a seaweed salad. The salad was fresh and tasty, the two rolls were absolutely delicious, perfect blend of flavors. One had jalapeño and fish roe topping the roll, this was refreshing and not overly spicy. The other , was brought to the table and torched tableside.... was such a great meal with great atmosphere and such a great service.

I am in love with this place. The food, service and atmosphere was great. I've been here 3 times in 30 days. The Ramen is 🔥 (good). I even brought home some takeout for my husband. I had the Ramen and Katsu, Tempura(shrimp, Japanese sweet potato, pumpkin), takoyaki, kaarage fried chicken. Went back today(04/04/2025) and had the Ramen as well as the lunch special crunchy sushi. There were 3 types, tuna, yellowtail and salmon. Great experience

What a place to finally pop my sushi and sashimi cherry. The bell to alert the staff was very nice and you even have a curtain for some privacy. But, of course, what I cared about was the food, and that was incredibly. The sushi was rich in flavors that I'd had never quite tasted. Everything felt fresh. It's expensive, but a solid 8th date location for sure🙏🏾

Modern, intimate atmosphere. Great service with friendly employees. They have a good selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes, which for the location isn’t priced too highly. I got one of the lunch specials with teriyaki and sushi — sushi was fresh, teriyaki was good but nothing too special. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than I expected.
