I just had the WORST experience at the Nordstrom bra department. My friend and I both have larger chests and we went to get fitted. I was looking to buy at least two new bras today, but instead, was met with a very unhelpful employee. She was middle aged with long hair. I waited almost a full hour for her help, while she assisted other people. I had communicated earlier to her that I was waiting for her to help me, and when I finally had to go search her out, she claimed that I hadn’t asked her to fit me. I know my bra size; she took one, very loose measurement around my rib cage; I told her that I am at least a 32H. WITHOUT EVEN MEASURING MY CUP, she said I was wrong. She proceeded to bring me five different bras that were all clearly too small. She was very unkind in our communications, even though I was trying to be as polite as possible. For my friend, she also did not properly measure or assist her and also brought her bras that clearly did not fit her well. I was very disappointed with the level of expertise and professionalism in the department today.

Extremely disappointed with 1 employee at this Nordstrom location. Just 10 minutes before closing, my husband and I were rushing through the store to get to the parking garage. As we walked through, my husband slipped on what appeared to be vomit on the floor. What shocked me the most wasn’t just the hazard itself, but the response from the female employee nearby. Rather than checking on my husband or alerting us beforehand, she said, “That’s why I’m standing here—to avoid stepping on this side.” Let me break this down: 1. The mess blended in with the floor, making it completely unnoticeable. 2. There was NO wet floor sign or caution indicator of any kind. 3. The employee was not actively warning customers or addressing the situation, rather having a conversation with a co-worker. When I told her she should put up a sign, she defensively replied, “I understand that.” Clearly, if she truly understood the risk of a slip and fall, proper signage would have already been in place. I’m extremely grateful my husband didn’t injure himself, because if he had, this would be a completely different legal conversation. This type of negligence is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope a manager addresses the negligence.
