Very fun shop! I found a bunch of things and the prices are very reasonable, especially in 2025! It looks small, but it’s actually a very good size. Nice mix of thrift items, clothing, bags, home goods, books/vinyl, craft supplies and tchotchkes. Very clean and well organized/decorated. You can tell the owner takes pride in their shop. Such a cute thrift/retro store. There are cool thrift finds all over and mixed in with other goodies. They also have cute stationery stuff, art & crafts fun things and the cutest artwork around the store. Owner was very pleasant.

Nouveau Retro is a new highlight of SW Portland. They have a carefully curated selection of second-hand clothes that are unique and affordable. You can find all kinds of cute and funky accessories, jewelry, art, and home decor items. They have an intriguing table of cute beads and an art supply section as well! It's a great place to shop for cute gifts. But the best thing about this shop is the welcoming and inspiring environment. Comfy chairs in the entryway encourage you to take a moment to relax. The whole store seems to say "Go ahead, be yourself, make art, celebrate what delights you!" Lauren, the proprietor, is absolutely wonderful. I don't think I will ever leave this store empty-handed.
