Nunu’s is an unsuspecting little tavern, but I found myself pleasantly surprised! The sangria was quite tasty (and strong), and the yard bird club was really quite a good sandwich. I was impressed by the quality as I only expected run-of-the-milk bar food. Nunu’s does a good job of elevating their fare and drink to the next level. The atmosphere is semi-loungey and it feels intimate enough that you can have a fairly private and experience in a crowded bar. I’ll definitely be back! Update: Came back tonight with an old fiend and enjoyed a couple of Fall Brewing’s Japanese lager “Tora”, plus a Smokestack burger and a Yardbird sandwich. Everything was super tasty as always! My friend was pretty impressed by the Smokestack burger. We had a nice time hanging out and chatting, enjoying the food and drinks. Nunu’s is still going strong and churning out tasty eats and welcoming vibes.

I never expected to receive such great service and incredible food at such a late hour on a Sunday. From the start, the doorman made a great first impression with his friendly demeanor and light, funny conversation. At the bar, Natasha greeted me before I even sat down. She is an incredible host and bartender. She made some excellent menu recommendations, and I went with the blackened Caesar wrap. The fries were probably the best I’ve ever had, and as a self-proclaimed french fry connoisseur with 34 years of experience, I can confidently say they have THE best French fries.
