We attended a 2-hour class and had a great time. James runs a beautiful studio full of work he did himself and with his family. You can tell he loves his work, and this makes the class more enjoyable. I have attended classes in the past at other studios but I feel I never caught on as much as I did in the 2 hours we were at oak cliff pottery. We really appreciated the knowledge James acquired and shared from learning his craft all over the world! You get to pick up your fired/glazed pottery after a few weeks and they make such a beautiful souvenir of the experience. Thank you so much!

Book it and just go. It’s a fun experience if you’re interested. James is a great teacher. This class will test you… will you give up or show that you can complete anything you put your mind to? James is patient and eager to help you help yourself. He’s super there for you to guide you through but he wants you to be able to complete this on your own. I appreciated that. Although I wanted to arm wrestle him lol in the end I just wanted high fives. It was simply me trying to actually do what he said without overthinking it. It was truly fun and a great class. Give it a try
