My 8 year old had a lesson with Russell and it went so well! I had zero expectations, we were visiting from a land locked state and just wanted to introduce my kid to something new. She had a blast in the water on a cold and rainy day. Russell worked really hard to make sure that she could get up on the board and ride a wave at least once. I would absolutely book again if I could!

Took a group lesson with Kevin. He was an awesome teacher and had all of us catching waves immediately. Booking was a little funky due to some miscommunication but we actually got a partial refund and everything went well. The ocean makes a solid hang over cure!

What a great experience and a great treat! Being from Colorado - This was the first time in the ocean, at a beach and to try to surf for my son and I! We arrived to two different instructors and of the two, in our opinion, we received the best one! Erik was a great instructor! He was very helpful, very personable, professional and I just can't say enough great stuff about him! The semi-private training was great - the ordering and scheduling was simple - However, when we arrived - there was a mix up with the scheduled times (double booked - even though I had called back to verify times). Erik was able to reschedule the other group but then we found out that even though we paid and requested it, there was NO Professional Photographer available to capture our first wave (which was a somewhat pricey add on). Overall - Yes, it was an amazing experience! Yes - I would recommend it! But, most of all - I would highly recommend asking for Erik! Just make sure to check and double check the reservations to ensure that the times are scheduled properly and that you have a photographer there for your first wave!
