Our weekend staycation was incredible! When we arrived we received a complimentary room upgrade that made the trip even better. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the adults only pool and the great restaurants on the property. If you’re looking for a great hill country escape this is the place to go! Had a very enjoyable weekend here @ Omni Barton Creek Resort. Overall the property is beautiful and there is plenty to do for everyone in the family. We played 2 rounds of golf & although they were nice we were never informed that 1 had the fairways aerated recently so that was disappointing for the price per round. The rooms are very comfortable except for the pillows; those need to be destroyed as they were either flat or lumpy; beds were comfortable. The restaurants are great but it seems most of the staff congregate together & don’t really go the smallest extra step to provide the customer service other properties of this scale do. Evenings are wonderful & the property does provide the relaxation & ambiance to wonderful down comfortably whether at the pool, their lawns with fire pits, the balcony patio with rocking chairs or their lounge with live music. Their cleaning personnel are excellent & do go the extra mile to accommodate. Great weekend stay. 👍🏼

Lovely overall experience, we didn’t eat have some hiccups at breakfast on the first day. We were a group of 10 and they wanted to bring our food at the same time; which made all our food Luke warm. They solved that problem the next few morning. The attention to detail to give good service was indeed good management.

We booked our room through American Express. Their fine hotels and resorts. One of the perks is a room upgrade if available. The room the Omni upgraded us to was beautiful! It didn't occur to me until after we left that we did not book a room that nice. I looked back and figured out that they gave us a very nice upgrade. So we wanted to give them a great review for it! Not every hotel upgrades your room, so this was a treat!

We overall enjoyed our experience. Parker with the Valet service was great, the gentleman who bartended at Nopales (also bar backed at Jim Bobs) was fantastic, fun, and very friendly. We did have two negatives: 1) we were sitting by the splash pad because we have a toddler and we were passed several times before being helped (first day at the resort). By the second day, we decided to try again and I had to go track someone down to ask for a menu. He said he would tell the server. After watching all the servers make several laps to take orders, bring drinks, etc we were finally waited on. Once we were waited on (both days) things were fine but getting waited on to start was NOT GOOD. 2) the sink in our hotel room was slow draining. Totally able to work around this, especially since we weren’t planning to spend lots of time in the room. But we noticed on our last night that the sink would fill back up from the drain if the shower was running. This brought up some particles from the drain pipe as well. Maintenance was told that evening (we did not have them come fix it that night because our toddler was asleep already).
