UPDATE: Well, I was completely impressed with my entire visit. The donation entrance was laid out perfectly...so easy! The wide selection of real treasures completely blew me away! The cleanliness and organization off the charts! The staff was very welcoming! The prices were so affordable, didn't even care to ask for a Memorial Day sale price. ⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely unacceptable experience. I walked into this store to get a bit of relief from the intense Miami heat, with my support dog — clearly wearing his vest. He’s a sweet dog, still in training, and always under control. The staff treated me with extreme rudeness and zero respect. I was yelled at, kicked out for no valid reason, and even insulted over my physical appearance — I have a visible burn on my neck, and they made inappropriate, hurtful comments about it. I understand policies, but nothing justifies cruelty or public humiliation. Human decency should always come first. I live nearby and walk past this store almost every day — nothing like this has ever happened before. I plan to return with witnesses, because no one deserves to be treated this way.

I was being mindful and respectful of the space — nothing was left on the floor or in disarray. While grabbing more items to try on, I overheard a overweight long haired employee — patchy beard, and glasses — openly complaining that “people don’t know how to organize their own mess.” It was an unprofessional and passive-aggressive comment, especially coming from someone who, like most of the staff, appeared to be doing absolutely nothing. I walked over to check what he was referring to and noticed he and a short female employee were standing there gossiping and making loud remarks, clearly about my folded clothing stack. I politely approached them, apologized, and explained that the folded items were mine and that I was still trying on clothes. I even offered to hang everything back up if needed. They awkwardly responded that “everything was fine,” but their tone made it obvious it wasn’t — they simply didn’t have the professionalism or maturity to handle the situation respectfully. I even mentioned that I had worked at Zara and was used to folding and organizing clothing, and again offered to organize the clothes I was trying. One of them muttered something about it being “something to do,” yet their earlier behavior had already soured the experience. When I finally went to check out, the redheaded receptionist and long haired guy — who once again were standing around doing nothing. The guy just looked at me and left the area. As I placed my basket down and offered to help with the checkout process, saying, “Let me help you,” she snapped. She stepped back and said, “I don’t need help doing my job. What I need is for you to move so I can do it.” The tone was cold, hostile, and deeply humiliating in front of other customers. Trying to defuse the situation, I apologized, even though I had done nothing wrong. As she scanned the items, I told her I’d decided not to take two shirts. Instead of handling them calmly, she threw them against the wall in a clearly aggressive and inappropriate manner. As someone who worked in fashion, I found the entire experience disturbing. It’s not just that the customer service was poor — it was the open hostility, the immaturity, and the complete lack of professionalism from a team that looked like they didn’t want to be there.
