Nice little park but didn’t catch any fish. There were a couple snakes around the edges and in the water, but couldn’t tell what kind. Also saw a beaver!

Nice little pull off for a walk near the river 🏞 Spacious parking lot & gravel trails. Picnic tables by the pond as well. Was disappointed to see that Overland lake, next to the pond, is being used for golf practice @ the adjacent 'Aqua Golf' place. Tired of seeing golf everywhere that encroaches on nature.

No parking. I drove an hour to look at ducks and there was an obvious parking lot on Google maps. I thought no problem. I have a bad foot but the creek is super close to the lot, so it looked doable. NOPE! They have concrete barricades preventing you from parking there. Weird thing is that there is a crappy camper on the inside of the barricades that apparently is ok with the city? I ended up having to walk from Aqua Golf’s parking lot which is pretty far, especially when you have a bad foot. The ducks are fabulous, but I won’t be back because of the blocked parking lot. The least the city could do is update Google Maps that it’s closed!

Like to walk my dogs here and stroll along the river. Just have to watch out for the bicyclists. There's a nice variety of waterfowl, especially in the winter.
