Killing a little time before our house was ready to check into stopped here to look around. You do have to go down stairs or a paved path. Once you are down there you have a circular path to walk on. It goes around a lake. There are several spots to look over the lake the lake has turtles and ducks to watch. On the one side of the path are holes where the prairie dogs live. You can see them on guard or digging. It was a very nice park to walk around.

What an amazing place. So calming and peaceful. You'd never expect this in this location. We saw wildlife, water, forts made of sticks, forts made of tree stumps, forts made of trees, and so much more. It's places like this that show us that we can take care of nature. Be kind and respectful. Take garbage in take it back out. Take care of this beautiful place.

Great place for short walk, hike, or run. I enjoyed seeing the prairie dogs and bunnies on the trail. The lake was covered in algae which saddened me. Trail is gravel and ADA accessible with designated places for little ones to play. There is one portable toilet with limited water for hand washing on trail and 2 near parking lot. My recommendation to others is to wear a hat and sunscreen as it was still hot and dry at 5 pm. There are also picnic tables near the parking area and plenty of benches to stop and rest if needed.
