This is a completely self-service location, so if you are unfamiliar with the PADL app, or experience technical difficulties- you might be unable to rent. My friend and I had to go to a completely different location in Virgina Key, as the app wasn't identifying any paddleboards there even though there were two available. Other people came up and also had problems. I believe they also have a more limited stock due to the location being self-service. The kayak that seemed to be working on the app that was freshly brought in from the water was so dirty after being dragged through the rocks and grass. Nobody to help us and had to walk all the way back to Publix where we parked as there was no parking.

Awesome experience! Very easy to register and unlock the kayak.. I was on the water within 5 minutes. Taking off from Margaret Pace park is great because you have multiple options between heading South to Bayside, East to Beer Can Island or cruise North past the beautiful Miami Skyline. Very fun and enjoyable experience, I would certify recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the Miami Bay and wants to see this beautiful city from a different perspective.
