I had an amazing experience at the paddle board shop. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. They always have very cold drinks available, the bathrooms are spotless, and the overall attention to detail is impressive. On top of that, they have a fully equipped bike mechanic workshop with all the accessories you might need. If you go, make sure to ask for Diego, he’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to help. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Virginia Key!

This was a great spot, affordable prices and easy going people. Manager let us go in the water before he charged us for the session. $25 per hour paddle board, which seemed pretty reasonable. It's a great cove to either paddle and explore or just relax. Also wildlife sightings with manatees! I didn't see any but several others on the same inlet at the same time did- so they're definitely there. Love this spot and will be back again!

Great spot for kayaking or mountain biking. The guy who ran the shop was very helpful and the prices are great. We did a tandem for 35 a hr which is solid.

What a hidden gem this place is. Really awesome staff and BEAUTIFUL location. Saw a family of manatees, fish, birds and lizards. Truly exceptional and relaxing during the weekdays! Exceptional pricing as well and wayyyyy more affordable than what is around in Aventura area. 100% recommend!!!

We went around 12:20pm and at first didn’t see any manatees. The water was on the shallow side then and the sun was out. We gave up and went to the beach. A couple of hours later, my husband said let’s check again before leaving. We went back to the lagoon, the tide was higher and less sun and we ended up seeing a family of FOUR manatees. Such a cool experience! Pros: service was friendly and helpful and it’s pretty affordable ($35 p/ hour for tandem kayak). If you’re traveling with a child like we were, it’s safe and he fit in the tandem kayak with us (2 adults). Con: the kayak is not the most comfortable - some back support would be nice.
