I loved going to this place and haven't been here for yrs. Yesterday everything changed once I was entering with my family there was a security for a second I thought he wanted to check my bag, but told me I had to leave my bag at the register because it was too big see I had a beach sewed bag and I told him it wasn't a shopping bag it was my personal purse. I explained to him that I had my wallet keys and cellphone in it, and he told me to remove my things and leave the bag at the register. So I explained him again and told him my medication was in it and then asks me oh so you don't want me to take your bag I looked confused as if he didn't had a common sense then tells me to go in. I felt un welcomed and not wanting to buy anything so I looked around quick only bought a couple of items. I told the lady at the register she was more than welcome to check my bag while she was scanning my items she looked confused and said no we can't tell you to leave your personal bag with us only shopping bags. She was very nice and understanding. I'm a tourist that comes a long way from Arizona didn't deserve that judgment.

Super cool shop! This was the ultimate consignment / retail store I've been to! From old records to custom clothing, this place had it all. Definitely worth wasting a few minutes in just to pass the time, but be warned you will end up buying something, there's just so much good stuff. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This store is awesome for fun gifts and clothing. It’s multiple stores in one and they have plenty to choose from for both men and women. I’d highly suggest swinging through and checking out all this store has to offer. Great clothing, random gifts, books, plants, you name it. They always have new stuff too. Parking can be tough because it’s on garnet Ave but during the week no problem. You might spend a little more money but it’s worth it.

I have been to Pangea many times and enjoyed the experience - the shops are fun and unique. I have always been satisfied with my purchases until finally framing some prints I bought on our last trip to Pacific Beach in April. I spent approximately $80 on two Leah Higgins prints only to find that they were color copies on standard copy paper, and scotch-taped to the mattes. It was so cheaply done, and so disappointing. I was switching out the mattes and the tape used damaged the paper; it almost ripped them to the point of being unusable. I just can’t believe tape was used on the paper itself. I’ve purchased reproductions of art plenty and never seen such low quality. It’s safe to say that, while I will likely visit Pangea again, I will be much more cognizant of the quality of product before making any future purchases. And I would advise anyone buying prints to ask to take them out of the cellophane wrapping to see the quality for themselves before purchasing.
