Ehh it was ok. The lady at the front counter didn't look happy to be there at all. Seemed bothered when I asked to see some jewelry in the case. I left didn't buy anything. The clothes are over priced for the quality anything cute was either too large or super small.

Pavement pays a better cash rate than any other buy/sell/trade chain (Buffalo, Uptown Cheapskate, etc). What they buy varies a lot season to season, but their buyers have always been polite and communicative. They call you when they’re done looking through your stuff so you don’t need to wait on site. This location has a great selection of shoes in particular (awesome 5$ shelves). Also tons of men’s clothes, which can be rarer for secondhand shops. Huge variety of styles but I’d say it leans grungy and eclectic, not a lot of basics or luxury stuff here. Great place to look for standout pieces and always fun to browse. The clothes can be stained or have minor tears, so check things closely if you care about that.

I love both Pavement stores that I visited while in Austin. I wish we had these stores back home in GA. The clothes were separated nicely. The staff was super friendly. The lighting was great and the prices affordable. Shopping there was fun.

Good selection of clothing for a reasonable price. Very well lit, staff was reasonably friendly. Change rooms are big however it would be awesome if the curtains had some hooks on them or something as mine didn’t fully close all the way because the fabric was bent over- so it didn’t feel very private as anyone walking by could easily see in.

I had such an interesting experience donating some clothes today. I dropped off a very large bag of clothes that included brands such as Princess Polly, Urban Outfitters, Levi’s, and Motel Rocks. I was also very strategic with what I donated, knowing they would be more inclined to collect name brand items that were in great condition, gently used, or not even worn at all (so I thought.) Out of the 15 items I dropped off which consisted mostly of dresses and big brands, they turned away all of it except a pair of shorts and a baseball cap. I was not only shocked but mostly confused because as I continued to shop around, I found several items with bleach stains, armpit sweat stains, and holes (and even in these conditions were overpriced.) I also was confused as the person helping me out stated ‘we’re looking for clothes that are trendy and in good condition.’ Yet they didn’t (lol).
