We has a great time. We were on the ice right after a break/cleaning, and it was awesome. It is a small rink, so go on a weekday or weekday night, I feel like the crowds are manageable. We went on Tuesday... 1/2 price. The staff was super nice and helpful. There are no lockers, so leave as much stuff as you can at home. The rental stakes are better than I remember back in the day.

Ice skating right back into childhood memories! This was so fun, and the pricing is really fair for the amount of time you get. Staff is friendly and the ice is in great shape. We had so much fun skating and watching others of all ages enjoying themselves as well. The hot apple cider we had after getting off the ice, sitting by a fireplace, was the perfect ending to a great time.

We went on opening day and it was a fun way for the family to spend a weekend morning trying a new activity down by the waterfront in Downtown. We likely wouldn’t have been Downtown that day if it weren’t for this event/activity. We saw the Portland Pickle mascot ice skating (they’ve got skills), as well as a few local elected officials. Things we liked: plastic animals to rent so that younger kids can safely skate with their parents pushing them (we used a blue seal), the skate rental is right next to the ice with adjacent seating area, local vendor tents and food trucks for food/drinks, tables/games for sitting and eating, super easy parking right next to the rink entrance (can pay with parking kitty).
