Some may know this park as Louisa Street End while others know it as The Bouledrome or Eastlake Bouledrome Park. After all, what makes this park unique is its bouledrome. And what is a bouledrome, you ask? Well, it’s a place to play pétanque of course! If you, like me, have no idea what pétanque is, it’s a French game where you roll balls (or boules) close to each other to score points. The court has a plaque that acts as a permanent rule sheet and will explain it much better than me. Ultimately, whether you bring some boules or not, you’ll have a lovely time here.
