I’m officially renaming this place “Publix Chick-fil-A Junior.” This is only my fourth time shopping here—since it’s a little further than my usual store—but every single visit has been marked by exceptional customer service, friendly smiles, and warm greetings from every employee I encounter. Two visits in particular really stood out. Once, I walked in literally one minute before closing. Instead of being rushed or turned away (which has happened to me at other stores), the manager met me at the door with a kind attitude, encouraged me to come in, and even welcomed three other people who pulled up right after me. No pressure, no attitude—just hospitality. And today? I came in with my three kids, and again, the service was top-tier. A gentleman named Carter didn’t just ask if I needed help getting my bags to the car—he kindly insisted, like the team always does, and made the kids laugh the whole way there. Another associate, Katherine, gave the kids stickers. ease. These small, thoughtful acts of kindness mean the world to busy parents like me. 10 stars for the store. 10 stars for the team. The subs are si good. And they have some type of special sub everyday. They also have a combo where you get chips and a drink for $2 or $1 more. You can also make the subs into salads. The hot bar is good. You get a box of chicken for $10. You can have them add hot honey on it too. They also have a good seafood department. They will steam and season your purchase. I like to get crab legs, shrimp and lobster tails and add lemon pepper and old bay. Its so good. They have half price sushi on Wednesdays. And the key 🍋 pie is so good. One thing about Publix is the only deals you get are on buy one get one. And you have to get just what the advertisement says no exceptions.

I go here often. For the most part it's fine. They have vegan options so I like that the most. That's the main reason I go. The workers are polite when I've asked them questions. Just 1 time I got sick after eating at the cooked food area. But I still give 4 stars because it was just then. And I just don't eat from that part any more. But I do recommend the store to anyone especially if you need vegan options. Luv the vegan chips.

It’s 4:15. I am missing a party that I drove 7 hours to get to because the cupcakes that were ordered for 3:00 are not ready. I came at 3:10 - it would be at least 30 minutes. I left and came back. When I arrived at 4:00, they were just starting to work on the cupcakes. Do you think the reminder I got to pick up my cupcakes could have included a message that they would be delayed? I spoke to the catering manager. I don’t want to interrupt the bakery manager because she’s working on my cupcakes. Frustrated ? You bet.

I used to love Publix, especially their cakes. I've recommended so many family and friends to the Bakery because the cakes are SUPER good, affordable and chances are their going to fulfill your decorating desires. Well the last two times I placed an cake order I was told they are booked...This last time i was more upset because it was my daughters birthday cake I needed to order. Even though I placed this order over 72 hours in advance. THEY WOULD NOT BAKE THE CAKE. The lady asked if I wanted a floor cake. I responded with a NO. After going back and forth, she told me to try Publix Downtown Raleigh NC. I did. They was able to get a cake to me by my dead line. Sounds good right? Well this location doesn't do any changes to cakes, YOU MUST ORDER THE CAKE YOU SEE IN THEIR CATALOG AND YOU CAN ONLY CANGE 1 COLOR FROM THE ORIGINAL COLORS. No more custom cakes without being charged an extra ridiculously about for the cake. A $39.00 cake went over $100.00 because I wanted 3 colors, and chocolate drizzle. Very disappointed, I ordered the cake because I had no option because I needed to get a cake for the birthday girl. The cake doesn't match her decorations unfortunately. No disrespect, I'm not paying $100 for a 8 inch cake with 3 colors and sprinkles. I used to work at Publix, this shocked me. I say that because they where big on making sure their customers are happy. I walked out forced and disappointed. This is not the publix I used to work at.
