Private party at radio Star was SO MUCH FUN. We were in the Beatles themed room which itself earned 5/5 stars for the decor. You can request songs ahead of time if they aren't on the list, and the system was easy to use. Definitely will be going back. Be warned though, the kitchen doesn't open until after 6 so if you get there at 5, don't arrive starving as I did!

The BEST KARAOKE BAR in New York City!!! The Staffs are the best. Super accommodating , very nice and helpful-- an employee even let me use their charger! I will never come back here again. This place is a total rip off. First off, the drinks were ridiculously overpriced, $13 for watered-down shots that didnât even give us a buzz, and the margaritas were just as bad. For the money we spent, youâd expect at least decent quality, but everything tasted weak. On top of that, they automatically tack on an 18% gratuity (without even asking), which makes the bill skyrocket. We ended up spending over $250 for a couple drinks, snacks, and one hour of karaoke in this economy, INSANE. The service wasnât great either. We had to wait 15 minutes for our room even though we had a reservation. Once we finally got inside, the karaoke setup was super outdated you canât even search for or pick the songs you want. Instead, youâre stuck flipping through some old book with very limited options. For a karaoke spot in NYC, thatâs just unacceptable. Overall, this was overpriced, outdated, and disappointing. Save your money and go somewhere else where youâll actually get good drinks, working karaoke, and fair prices.

We visited this karaoke bar recently and overall the vibe was nice: the place was lively, everyone seemed to be having fun, and the crowd was super friendly. It definitely had the potential for a great night out. However, we ran into a pretty frustrating issue. We submitted three songs, but none of them ended up playing. After waiting through about 20 songs (many of which were sung by the same few people, who were clearly friends with the bartenders) we asked what was going on. Only then were we told that sometimes the system âskipsâ songs on its own, and that it was basically on us to notice and follow up. Eventually, we asked for all three of our songs to be played back-to-back, just so we could finally sing before leaving. It was disappointing, especially since we were genuinely excited and patient for most of the night. The energy of the place was great, but the way the queue was handled took away from the experience.
