Rae’s and Kay’s food is EXACTLY what we need here in Colorado. The fried chicken was crispy and had magnificent taste throughout. The Pastelillos were absolutely amazing. I would make the drive to eat those any and all day. My nana is picky but even her and my aunt agreed this was the yummiest tastiest food we have ever had. The owners Isha and Sharkay made me feel at home like I was talking to my aunt or nana. They are now apart of my home and I can’t wait to introduce everyone to their amazing flavors🤩😭

Where to even start!! The chicken is fried to perfection, not greasy at all, and the mac n' cheese and collard greens are so savory. They even included a warm cookie and cornbread on the side! Hit the soul just right and I plan on coming back! They also just opened up 6 months ago, and Rae's and Kay's Melting pot is just what Boulder needs. Support this business because food this good needs some awareness!

I am so glad to have found a place that has my favorite- arroz con gandules!!! and it was authentic tasting just like my grandma cooks it- if you don’t know what this is it’s a special Puerto Rican style rice and here in this pic you can see the wonderful bbq grilled chicken I bit into. Anyway, the taste was amazing and the service was impeccable so I will highly recommend this joint and I encourage anyone to try Arroz con gandules PR style. Amazing that COLORADO has this. Also I didn’t get pastellito today which is a Latin style dessert and I will be back soon for those. All in all, I Am so happy to find this place! I live most of my life in NJ and Miami, Florida so this diversity in Latin food is excellent.
