Ricardo provided my fiancĂŠ and I with TOP Tier service!! Highly recommend North Mission Beach Rays Rentals. We rented 2 hybrid bikes for a 4 day trip in San Diego. We did approx 30 miles of biking total, and the bikes worked perfectly. We accidentally left for the airport without returning our bikes. We left the bikes locked up outside of our AirBnB. We got on the airplane and had a panic attack when we realized we had not returned the bikes. We called Ricardo as soon as we landed, and he was incredibly reassuring and helpful. Fortunately, our AirBNB was very close to the rental location, and Ricardo went to collect the bikes himself. We offered to pay him extra for his efforts, but he refused the money, and returned the bikes with no hassle. Truly a massive stress relief!

I used to go here all the time and they were great. It's super quick and easy to rent from them! I brought my friends and then they took me all time because it was cheap, fun, and we all enjoyed the rentals. So when I wanted to get my own gear, I went to them for help. I was mainly wanting to ask them for recommendations to places to buy my own gear. They said they could get me gear and set me up but it'd be expensive. I was fine with this because I really liked them. I had called multiple times to make sure what I was asking for was okay, come in and tried on their gear, and requested them to order me new gear multiple times. Each time I was constantly reassured that they would call me with prices or that they would be able to order me what I wanted. I found out today that they do not order gear for people. If I had been told that two months ago I would be fine with that. But because I invested so much time in them I now have to start my search all over. I'm very disappointed in my experience with them. It seems like every employee has a different thought when it comes to what they can do. I will not be coming back for rentals or anything else. Tl;dr: they're great for rentals, but if you want anything else don't get it from them.
