Christopher and Kristin were great. They ended up letting us peddel around for 2 hours for the price of one. The bikes were really fun and easy to use. They were great even after having surgery 3 days ago. It was perfect to explore the city while waiting for our flight home to Colorado. We rode all along the bay, it was beautiful!! Thanks. We cant wait to come back.

DO NOT RENT A BIKE FROM THIS PLACE! For $35 to rent a $400 hybrid bike for a day one should expect to get a reasonable tuned bike, or at least a bike that is safe. For starters the rear break was pretty soft. I noticed it right away when they gave me the bike but figured it just need a slight adjustment. Nope, the screw was completely stripped out! Later while biking the chain on my bike derailed into the spokes of the rear tire and I ended up crashing and cracking a rib. I was 10 miles away from the shop and my hotel but fortunately I had brought my tools with me and I was able to get the chain out. It was at this point I realized how dirty the drivetrain was which was probably why it jumped off in the first place. Anyway I limped back to the shop where I started to nicely complaing about how bad of shape the bike was in and In the middle of talking the guy he turned his attention to another customer. I could tell that he really didn't give a dang. Instead of raising a further stink I just decided to post this review (with pictures). DO NOT RENT A BIKE FROM THIS PLACE!

I wanted to rent a bike, we were at the rental service at 5:37pm. Talked to the lady Angel who agreed to rent us a bike, we were just waiting for my husband who was parking our car to bring an ID. Angel knew Im waiting and knew I wanted to rent the bike we agreed for before &…. She decided to close the door right on my face without saying a word. When I asked what is happening she said „its closed”. It was 5:50pm, the website says last rental is 5:56pm. Its clear she did not want to rent bike to us and left me with two crying childrens who really wanted to take a ride even if we were there on time according to website, standing in front of her - so she could tell us she will be closing or so. It seems it would be her last rental and she did not want to take it because she wanted to go home early rather than waiting for us to return the bike at the end of her shift. Horrible behaviour!!

The time limit was even more than I expected so that was a plus. Overall decent prices and a great way to explore the sunny San Diego.
