RC Willey had everything we needed and a lot of what we wanted. Lesley helped us navigate the huge store and select our items. No up-selling which I really appreciated. Delivery was fast. The two guys that delivered our items took care not to mar our wood floors. They put the items together perfectly, cleaned up the packaging and were gone in minimal time. We are very happy with our items and will visit RC Willey again in the future.

The furniture movers arrived about 45 minutes past the 2-hour window they provided. That was understandable. What was more surprising was how overwhelmed they seemed by the amount of furniture to move. I gave clear instructions on where everything should go and left for my kids’ lacrosse game, trusting the job would be finished as planned. When I returned, I was disappointed to see that the furniture had been left where it was—much of it still unwrapped, not assembled, and not placed in the right rooms. It felt like they decided getting it into the house was “good enough.” Perhaps the most frustrating part was seeing dirty handprints left on freshly painted walls, despite so little progress being made in actually moving furniture to the bedrooms. We called RC Willey, and to their credit, they were responsive and offered to send someone out on another day to complete the work. That said, we’ll be living with furniture and packaging scattered throughout the house until next week.

My experience at RC Willy was nothing but a disappointment after the original visit. We went and had a great interaction with our salesman and we purchased a new bed frame and mattress as well as some drawers to go under the bed. We were really excited about everything until the day of the delivery came. The two men that came were inpatient and unkind. Not only that, but they didn’t build the drawers which we had paid them to do. So then I was left to build the drawers. However after assembling both drawers and finding out that our salesman had sold us too many drawers, they didn’t fit under the bed. They had assembled it to the wrong setting and there was nothing I could do to fix it because they didn’t leave behind any parts to fix it. I was on and off the phone with the salesman all day to get the problem sorted but the problems only kept continuing unfortunately. The salesman said that they were going to replace the rails on the bed frame but they didn’t do that and gave it a pretty half assed effort to fix it. Not to mention they scratched our brand new bed and didn’t say a single word. I also was hoping our salesman would help me work out a store credit for returning the drawers he over sold us but he disappointedly only sent me the number for customer service again. I will be hesitant to ever return to RC Willy again if my experience is going to be similar to this one.
