Here's what people think of Rebel House
As of recent, Rebel House holds a 4.8-star rating based on 153 reviews.
Customer reviews of Rebel House consistently praise the restaurant for its inventive menu and vibrant atmosphere. Positive feedback highlights the imaginative craft cocktails, unique popcorn flavors, and the quality of house-cured meats and cheeses. Many reviewers appreciate the creative direction of the menu, noting the successful inclusion of both hearty meat dishes and lighter vegetarian options, which allow for a broad appeal. The energetic and whimsical dining space, combined with attentive service, is frequently mentioned as contributing to memorable experiences. On the negative side, some reviewers have noted that the restaurant closed its original location in March 2023, which disappointed loyal patrons who cherished the space and its ambiance. However, this closure has been framed more as an evolution rather than an end, with plans underway to merge Rebel House's energy and style into the larger, new space of Alley Cat, another concept from Chef Eric Baker. This transition aims to maintain the spirit and elevate the dining experience. In summary, while the closure of the original Rebel House location marked a bittersweet moment, the overall customer sentiment remains highly positive, highlighting the restaurant's creativity, quality, and lively vibe as defining strengths.

This is the BEST fitness studio I’ve ever been to. No exaggeration. I’m someone who’s always found it hard to exercise regularly — I’ve tried lots of gyms, apps, types of exercise, etc and just haven’t managed to find something I could commit to and enjoy consistently. Rebel House finally did it! Here’s everything I LOVE: • Variety. A Rebel House membership is basically 3 gym memberships in one, with boxing, cycling, and yoga. I personally love them all and it’s fun to be able to mix it up — it makes it so I can go really frequently without getting bored. • The workouts themselves. I joined knowing I liked yoga and thinking I wanted to try cycling. Boxing turned out to be my favorite class! But I love all three. I never leave a 45-min workout without feeling totally sweaty and like I worked super hard (with the exception of yoga restore classes). And for me the crucial thing is they’re FUN — somehow the music & the energy & the format makes them enjoyable & not just in a “feels good once you’ve done it” way. • Theme classes. This helps with the FUN aspect! But I enjoy getting to pick and choose based on not just the class type but also the music we’ll work out to. • The schedule. They have lots of class offerings throughout the day (even if you’re like me and you’re not an early riser) and on weekends. • The app. It’s great. It works. I’ve never had any issues. Scheduling is super easy. • The staff. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable being a total beginner here! And every instructor has their own personality/music taste/style but they’re all great. • The space itself. Stylish, inviting, clean, always smells nice. Even the merch is cute. And the vibe is supportive. My sister visited from out of town and said she’d never felt so comfortable working out at a gym as a woman! • The value. A monthly membership is pretty comparable (even on the lower side) to other gyms I looked into in the area but again, here it’s like you’re getting 3 gym memberships in one. I genuinely think you can’t beat it. I just checked and I’ve now been to 78 classes in the ~3.5 months since I joined. I don’t see how I could ever go anywhere else! Highly highly recommend this gym!!! If you’re a Utah local, visit their website and get the $29 one-week pass — that’s what I did and it was the perfect way to try out all the different types of classes :) see you there!!!

I've tried a few cycling studios in SLC and this one is definitely the best! Prices are all pretty similar from studio to studio here, but the instructors at Rebel are AMAZING. Obviously you gotta find the people you vibe with, but the classes I've taken have been really fun! Plus the front desk people are really helpful, they rent shoes, have free earplugs if the music is too loud, and are so friendly.

Been to this newer location a couple times now and it doesn't disappoint!! Love that they have two locations and the energy is exactly the same. It's a full on community, not just a gym and their classes are killer. Love taking spin with any of their instructors (can't go wrong) and appreciate that there is a parking lot parallel to them and parking on the street.

10 out of 10, would recommend. Rebel House is by far the most inclusive, friendly and challenging fitness experience I’ve ever had! The instructors are incredibly dedicated and so willing to help, the front of house staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, and bonus!!! It’s women-owned and operated by a really incredible person! I couldn’t recommend it more.
