I LOVE coming to this nail spa. I always feel so welcome and relaxed coming here. I love that they also offer complimentary beverages. I’ve seen June the last few times I have come here and I absolutely love the work she does. I always come with unique and crazy ideas, and I always bring reference photos as to what I want. June’s attention to detail is perfection, and she always delivers above and beyond what I have ask for! She also gives great recommendations/alternatives that best fit my nail type and skin type. Highly recommend this salon!

They gave me an appointment at 6:15pm and rushed the entire time. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in and it took them about 5 minutes to acknowledge that I was there and they seen me walk in. She yelled to me all the way from the back when I was sitting in the front. When the man (older looking) took me back to do my nails he was rushing and shredding my cuticles with the machine and was going super fast (it kind of hurt). I showed him the picture of my design and asked if he could do it, he said “I think so.” He also broke the tip of my nail and kept it shorter than the others. I literally started crying and told him to just put clear over it instead of trying the design that I showed him. He seen me crying and still made me pay full price. These are my nails just a couple days later. Little did they know these were supposed to be my wedding nails and I was super excited. I cried for hours because I now have to squeeze time in and pay more money to get them redone over.

I asked for a clear pink polish so I did gel x nails. After applying nails the guy doing my nails said best he could do is a flat baby pink. He did a terrible job meaning it’s was a messy rushed job. I literally wanted to cry paying $75 for crap nails. He didn’t even bother polishing the ends of my nails. I did white tips as well. It was hella sloppy. The last picture was the reference.

The staff consistently does an amazing job, whether I’m getting a simple manicure or something more detailed and design-heavy, which I always get my nails done and a pedicure! What I appreciate most is how transparent they are about the process, timing, and pricing — you always know what to expect, and they’re dedicated to making sure you get exactly what you want. Obviously now prices everywhere have increased and getting a design on your nails or toes takes time and creativeness. Many people now a days expect to be given the best quality things for a low price when that’s not how it works. Customers should be mindful and more kind to these hard working individuals at relax nails! June, the manager, is truly the heart of the salon. You can tell how much pride and time she puts into the space and her team. Her attention to detail, leadership, and warm energy are what keep me (and so many others) coming back. Located right on Guadalupe Street, the salon is super convenient and walkable, especially for students or anyone living nearby. Just keep in mind — with a prime location and amazing service, they do get busy so if you walk in there might be a waiting time. But that’s just more proof of how in demand and loved they are. I wish more people understood how much time, skill, and effort it takes to create the beautiful, unique designs we all want — and the team at Relax Nails always delivers with care, precision, and patience. Saw a tiktok about this place and was excited to try them out. I’ve never been so rushed through a manicure pedicure, sat down at 11:13 finished at 11:45. This would be fine and almost preferred if my nails looked better. Uneven shape and coloring, I felt bad asking for another shade even though they clearly need one. Paint on my skin and cuticles still uncut. Pedicure is one step up from the manicure but I’ve had way better in Austin. Hopefully this isn’t typical for this place but I will not be back!
