This is a fun music venue. Several bars are in the building. For general admission, as long as you were tall I think it works very well. There is a little bit of slope to the floor in the back so if you were shorter, I would recommend trying to get to the front. Sound quality has been reliable and good. The last two shows we saw there were excellent. building itself is a little strange as it’s an old school I believe. It’s definitely a mixed use building with some businesses Incorporated into it as well. The bars that serve drinks outside of the music venue area allow you to bring the drinks into the music venue so it works well from that standpoint. all in all if you have a band that you like that is coming to revolution Hall, I think it is a good experience. I haven’t tried the food there, but I really don’t think that is why people end up going there.

Flew here from Vegas for the first time to see Kim Deal, and to visit Portland. This venue is very intimate. It’s a little confusing as to where the entrance to the actual venue is,, and the sections, but venue staff and the people of Portland in general are very nice and helpful. I actually forgot I got a balcony ticket. If I’d gotten GA I could e gotten a front row rail spot. But that’s ok. I happened to get the front row, center seat next to the reserved seats (which nobody showed up for btw 🤨) so I had a perfect view of the venue and probably the next best spot to being up front of the stage. Sound was good except at times when Kim was talking, I don’t feel it was loud enough nor clear enough. Great little venue. Definitely go if your favorite artist/band performs there.

Arrived early for the JJ Grey & Mofro concert—about a ten-minute walk from Jupiter Next Hotel where we staycationed for the night. Ordered a Hazy, an IPA, and fries at the bar. Sipped our beers while waiting for the fries at the pick-up window. We went to the rooftop bar with our drinks and fries. Great city view and seating options. Perfect evening for outside. Ordered another IPA round at the rooftop bar...frosty metal cups. Nice! The fries: Thin like shoe string—dry, no potato-inside because too thin—not great. The venue and concert: awesome. Looking foward to going back for 80s video dance club in July.

My favorite place to see shows in Portland. The sound is fantastic. The seating is great. I was able to sit on the left side of the balcony right above J Mascis and see the techs switching out the different templates for his pedal board. The main floor is sloped so it's easier for us shorter people to get a good view there as well. There is easy residential parking around the venue. The food is good and multiple bars throughout. I love the way they have the merch area conveniently set out up. The friendliest staff in Portland. Photos of The Jesus Lizard from May 8. Great show.

This is a great venue for a more intimate concert experience. Located in this renovated school, it is a great way to experience going back to school without the trauma. There are a couple of places to grab a drink and food including Martha’s and the rooftop bar. Overall, I would definitely catch a concert here and eager to hit the rooftop this summer.
