I'm not on board with hostile architecture even when it's for keeping homeless people away, but even if you are, you aren't supposed to make hostile architecture for paying patrons. If the seats weren't so cramped, your poor employees wouldn't have to constantly tell people to keep their feet off the railing on the balcony. It's like it's designed deliberately to make people uncomfortable. Greedy developers probably made the seats as close together and small as they can get away with to squeeze as many people as possible in. The Schnitz would NEVER torture its patrons like that. I'll never get tickets there again. If you are smaller and able bodied, maybe you won't mind. But if you are bigger and/or have any issues with your body, I don't recommend it. I have physical issues so the fact that my feet were squished back under my seat was literally painful for me. Everything else was to be expected. Sound was fine, employees were fine, concessions were as ludicrously expensive as any venue of this size.

Security was super easy to get through, everyone working there was amazing and so incredibly sweet! They seemed to only use about a 1/4 of the stadium and therefore the GA/pit was pretty small, but it felt a lot more personal with the bands in the end. Drinks was a little pricey, 6.50 for a downsized bottlenof water, but 7 for garlic knots, but one of the guys at the GA bar gave me a cup with a lid for the water fountian, so I was easily able to grt free water. Bathrooms were clean and not a long wait at all. Tons of people getting on the trimet after the concert, so I felt super safe going home too!

This venue *is* the Moda center. Just a small section of the arena used for smaller shows. It was really nice and intimate even with the multi deck seating. Even if you got "nosebleed" tickets youll get a great view of the show. Things I wish I knew before going:-There are several food/drink vendors to pick from. Beer is allowed in all sections of the venue. If you have Floor tickets, there is a food/drink vendor on the floor level lobby. The event staff are extremely nice and answered all of my "dumb" questions professionally.

Saw Culture Club, B-52s and Tom Bailey here and really enjoyed it. Sound was excellent, and the layout is great. Small enough to be "intimate" but big enough to really rock. Parking was super easy in/out (but a little expensive). I'm definitely coming here again for live music!

Food and drinks are really expensive but that's expected with concert venues.
