I had a phenomenal first experience here with my 15-year-old Daughter last Friday. It was our first time riding Electric Bikes, and we had a blast. We were able to cover a lot of ground, and see a lot of the area in just two hours. DETAILS: The bicycles each worked as advertised, going up to 20mph with just the touch of a button. As a bonus, the seats were also large enough that I did not have that “next-day-sore-bum” I always get, after jumping on my bike after a long period off of it. Finally: A quick shout-out to the team of “Wes & Mark” for setting us up patiently, and for making it a seamless experience for us to travel around the Scottsdale Greenbelt & Old Town areas. I highly recommend this establishment!

I have purchased several bikes from Rides in motion. Their entire staff is a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, always helpful and from what I have experienced I don’t think that the word no is in their vocabulary. I highly recommend this company for your next bicycle purchase.

I am writing this review to warn others about my experience with Rides N Motion. I purchased a bike from them and, within 11 days, had to return it because it developed a strange error that would not allow me to ride it. A polite young employee helped me with the return process and mentioned he was not aware of any return policy and said to leave the bike and he would get the return processed when the owner returned from out of town. Despite taking the bike back, the company has refused to issue a refund and still has both the bike and my money. When I disputed the charge with AMEX, Rides N Motion lied in their response, claiming: - That I had modified the bike (completely false). - That I returned the bike outside of a 14-day return period (also false). As you can see in the photo attached, there was a "14-day return policy" until they realized I was within that 14 days... In reality, they did not have a clear return policy at the time of purchase and appear to have made one up after the fact- the issue ism even the one they made up still put me within the return window. Even after that, they refused to refund and said they can refund with a 20% restocking fee (also, not a real policy). I am now in round two of disputing the charge with AMEX. What makes this especially disappointing is that we intentionally chose to support a local company, even though it cost a bit more. We’d gladly support local again...but not with this business. It’s a shame. For these reasons, I strongly advise others not to do business with Rides N Motion.
