Went here on a Monday evening. It was not too crowded and the bartender there was super cool. He made sure everyone was taken care of. The drinks that were made are super delicious and tasted right. It was drink betting day, so we were able to play heads or tails to get free drinks. Luckily I was able to win the game and got my drinks for free. This place does really cool events. Great place to get drinks before a concert at the Mission. Cheap and they make a surprisingly good pizza here. It’s not gourmet by any means but it tastes like a really good bowling alley pizza and lets you get something in your belly to soak up all the alcohol you’re planning on imbibing. If you’re going to host an event, please do it responsibly. I was on my way to the ER and ended up stuck behind some guy who came to a total stop in the middle of the road to look at the cars—completely blocking traffic. To make matters worse, a guy who seemed to be working the event (and appeared to be stoned) actually encouraged him to stay put and told me to “just go around.” To be clear: I wasn’t just impatient or out for a casual drive—I was trying to get to the hospital. And I absolutely would’ve gone around if I could, but the other lane was packed with fast-moving traffic and no one was letting anyone in. I was stuck. The way this event was managed showed a real lack of awareness and consideration for the people just trying to get through the area safely.
