Visited this quaint used book store for the first time today! The owner is friendly and helpful—not to mention that I got three books (in great condition) and two postcards all for less than $20 after tax. Will definitely return!

Love Rodney's new location and happy that this reliable used book store is back in business! A great collection of classics and more contemporary books. Also some posters for sale in front. Vintage selection of paperbacks near the register. They also have a section of YA books.

Such a cozy little store with an incredible selection! I also had a very enjoyable conversation with the guy behind the counter about I-O Psych and art. Ethan, if you're reading this, it was lovely to meet you and thank you for helping me find an art book!

Now occupies the space formerly held by Raven Used Books. Rodney's is named after a long-departed dog, and was previously located in Central Square Cambridge. Decent used book selection and prices, though not up to the high standard of Raven. Helpful staff. Note that other photos and reviews dating from earlier than 2024 show the old Central Square location, which was a much larger space.

I was very sad to hear that Raven was packing up and relocating to western MA. But Rodney’s is keeping the spirit of the place alive, with a great collection of used books (we bought some vintage classics and a cookbook). I will definitely come back! Please keep this place in business-it is so rare to find good used bookstores.
