What a wonderful experience! Booked last minute and Captain Paul was very quick to respond and helped with the reservation. Sent a wonderful menu to choose from. A lot of variety! The boat was immaculate. Top notch. His presence and humor made my 3 guests at ease. Getting to the front of the boat was so easy and his crew person was so accommodating. We could sit back and relax. Such a great way to treat out of town family and my husbands birthday. Captain Paul came up front and took pictures for us. It was so memorable. We were SO at ease! Please book this sailing if you want to make a memorable event.

Captain Paul took great care of my family and I to celebrate my parents’ joint birthdays. We had an amazing afternoon sailing around San Diego harbor, passing by tons of ships, seals / sea lions, and taking in downtown the San Diego skyline. Prior to the trip, Captain Paul checked in on our group’s preferences and had everything on board for us. When he greeted us at the dock, he knew everyone’s name (a detail my parents found to her very hospitable and professional). We highly recommend Captain Paul and the Sail Riviera experience for a memorable excursion on the water. Captain Paul is an amazing host and I am sure we will be back soon!

Captain Paul and his assistant Debra were the epitome of perfect hosts – knowledgeable, personable, and thoroughly professional. I proposed to my SO and had a very special memorable moment with Captain Paul and Debra. They were there to make everything perfect and capture it all for us. It was my SO's first time being on the sailing yacht, and she was a bit nervous and feeling under the windy weather, but they recognized it and did all they could to make us feel completely comfortable all the time. The whole process -- starting from the initial discussions about departure times, trip duration, to our preferences for food and drinks, every aspect of our experience was meticulously planned and personalized. The yacht itself was immaculate; even the restroom was sparkling clean. Also, I'd like to point out that the yacht was pretty new and very well taken care of. Everything was clean and shiny, truly felt luxurious for us. Even before our sailing date, Captain Paul proactively reached out to me to ensure the best weather conditions for capturing the sunset view and smooth sailing. He continuously monitored the weather for us every morning and messaged me daily prior to our special day! I was very touched by his dedication and professionalism. Captain Paul really treats this special moment as if it is his own special moment from beginning to end. During my propose time, the moment I received her 'yes' behind the San Diego ocean's beutiful sunset, along with the gentle ocean breeze and the sound of waves, was nothing short of romantic, magical, and unique. Captain Paul was standing behind us smiling and taking many beutiful pictures for us. :') Overall, Captain Paul and Debra were incredibly accommodating, prioritizing our comfort and ensuring a memorable experience. We had an amazing experience sailing around San Diego with Captain Paul Barnett. Everything was in line with expectations and beyond. The boat was in perfect condition, super clean and just beautiful to see. We had a very warm welcome, it was like immediately being with friends. We had our moments of privacy but also times enjoying the conversation with him and Lane. Food was delicious and the Aperol Spritz offered to welcome us on board by adding an “Italian touch” was top quality. It was a wonderful experience for me and my children, something you cannot miss if you really want the full experience of San Diego, its water and sun. Thanks Paul!!!
