A little dreary. Decade closed restaurant, coffee shack closed due to rain on a Friday. No posters on Civic Theatre telling of coming performances. Only old marquis. Mural coming next year. But very worn out place. City Hall, Theatre, Plaza, all seem to lack Civic ambiance. All fountains turned off. Lack of ways for public to enjoy or participate...much like San Diego Govt, many parks. One 24/7 bathroom, but YOU WON'T WANT TO USE, caution dangerous even though manned & "secured"24/7. Also note very few bathroom or personal hygiene facilities in Downtown San Diego, or City as a whole. And of those available, 90% you don't want to step in!!!

It's old. And the acoustics are horrible. The orchestra was so low and eventually at the end began to really get into it. Very disappointed. It's Christmas and they didn't even decorate the trees. Everything was plastic .
