I’ve commuted to work by bicycle in every city and town I’ve ever lived in, including a small quiet island in Florida... and this is still the best bike commute I’ve ever had. Investments like this are what make cities great. It’s easy to see how they got the Gold level achievement for the rankings of “Bicycle friendly communities.” I moved here for a great job, but features like this are what make life here complete. Great paved trail that runs from Tempe town lake to North Scottsdale around Westworld. It avoids riding on main roads using bridges and underpasses to get by. It's beautiful and well maintained. The path runs through parks, golf courses, and several restaurants/bars to stop at along the way.
