Even though it was open studio time, the staff was still incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. There was also another employee there specifically for open studio participants, so we could ask questions and get tips along the way. It was such a unique experience to work on our own projects side by side, and the friendly support made it even better. We had so much fun creating, and it felt like a mini creative escape together. They have open hours on Sunday. You can book a table on their website. There's no instruction offered (and clay is not really something to do blindly so we watched a bunch of YouTube videos first), but my daughter and I were pleased to find that the employee there was really helpful in getting us set up. We were also pleased that they have all the special clay tools you'd need to shape and mark the clay. We made some pinch pots, which will be kiln fired in the next two weeks. Then we can return (with a second booking) to glaze them. Really a fun experience.
