I joined SPC a year ago and it is one of the best health/fitness decisions I've made. The space is beautiful and inspiring (both the Ballard and Green Lake locations) and the teachers are incredible - killer workouts, knowledgeable about anatomy and ensure your form is correct, that you're modifying as needed for your body, etc. The members are so kind and it really is a community. It's truly the best studio I’ve been a part of in the 11 years I’ve been doing Pilates. They make it easy to commit to a regular practice...I've never done as much Pilates as I have here. Can't recommend SPC highly enough!

The space is bright & beautiful. It’s a very calm place to work out & very clean. The staff is very helpful and encouraging. They take Covid precautions very seriously which I appreciate since most gyms aren’t open yet. I’ve taken the Reform class which is a good way to learn the basics at a slower pace. The next class I’ll take is the Power class which seems faster & more fluid.

The Reformer movements promote core strengthening, improved posture, flexibility, balance, and coordination, which are beneficial for general wellbeing and injury prevention. Seattle Pilates Collective’s instructors guide participants through proper setup and transitions on the machine, ensuring safety and maximizing benefit. What additional benefits do private lessons bring for group members? This personalized attention helps clarify proper form, address individual limitations, and build confidence prior to joining group sessions. Groups can encourage members who need extra help to take private lessons as a stepping stone, enhancing overall group cohesion and enjoyment during classes. Personalized sessions also allow participants to focus on specific goals such as injury rehabilitation, posture correction, or athletic performance enhancement. The studio’s expert instructors adjust exercises precisely to client needs, optimizing effectiveness while reducing injury risk. Thus, private lessons add an important layer of accessibility and depth to the group’s Pilates experience, helping every friend or family member get the most out of their time at Seattle Pilates Collective.
