I’m so happy I stopped by today! This place is amazing and honestly feels more like a museum. There are so many different trinkets and gently used/new clothes to choose from. Went here a few months ago with my mom and boyfriend and all three of us found a wonderful treasure to take home!! Lots of stuff for animal lovers. Handmade items. Yard decor. And even some oddities!! I bought multiple items that related to black cats. As I have two and love them dearly. And my boyfriend bought a super cool cement gargoyle to hang outside!! The ladies at the front desk were also extremely kind and we enjoyed chatting with them. They let us know that the proceeds go to an animal charity and I just absolutely love that! It’s going towards a good cause. I cannot wait to go back and find more treasures! I definitely recommend you stop if you’re in the area. ☺️🐶

Oh my goodness! What a store! They have such CUTE items, everything from clothes to shoes to jewelry to kitchen items, furniture and more. The prices are very fair, and the employees are so friendly. AND - DRUM ROLL, PLEASE - all of their profits benefit homeless animals. This was my first time in, but I will be back! I got jeans, shorts and a necklace for $40. And I do not care what the fashion industry says about skinny jeans. I have shirt dresses that look best with them. Plus, the fashion industry makes that stuff up to keep us buying; I’m over it, but that’s another story. This is a COOL store.

I had a very upsetting experience at Second Chance Treasures. While breastfeeding my child, which is legally protected in public spaces, I was approached by an employee named Beth and asked to cover up or leave, because what I was doing was “not appropriate”. Being treated this way for simply feeding my baby and also not being indecently exposed, was not only humiliating, but completely unacceptable. Breastfeeding is natural, necessary, and protected by law. No parent should be made to feel ashamed or pushed out of a business for doing what’s best for their child. I hope the store takes this seriously, provides proper training for staff, and creates a more welcoming environment for families. Until then, I won’t be returning and I encourage others to think twice before supporting this business.
