One of — if not — my favorite shop in Denver! Savannah, the manager, is so sweet and helpful, and there is such lovely energy in the shop. I always find at least one item every time I pop in. I just left with two pairs of gently used and super fairly priced AGOLDE and Reformation jeans and a $6 basic tee. 😊 I’m constantly going through my closet and getting rid of stuff, and I know I can bring my gently used clothes here and get a fair buy — I usually keep what they offer as store credit as I know I’ll use the same day or in the future. 10/10 recommend 🤍

I love the idea of shopping here, but the reality is disappointing. It’s uncomfortably busy and the employees come off as mean. I recently overheard them making fun of a bag of clothes someone brought into sell. A few weeks ago I was fat shamed by their employee Treya while trying on clothes. She assumed none of the clothes fit me and tried putting them back. She looked shocked when I said no and went to purchase. Overall Second Love could do better at keeping the racks organized on slow days. It’s frustrating seeing all these small sizes among the limited quantity of L-XL items, especially when the store is empty on a week day. There’s way too much cheap fast fashion brands filling the racks. They should stop buying junky brands like Cider and Zara. No one buys Cider because they think it’s good quality, they buy it because it’s cheap polyester that is well advertised. They claim to only buy clothes from the last two years but I purchased a button up shirt here in early spring that is clearly someone’s mom’s shirt from the late 90s. It even had “Claire” written in sharpie on the tag inside. That specific shirt ended up having a tear along the side (pic included). This isn’t goodwill, and they should not be selling damaged clothing. Check your clothes for stains and holes!

This is my absolute favorite store to buy clothes in all of Denver!!! :) If you’re looking for unique pieces, fantastic deals, and high-quality clothes, this place is a must-visit. The store has a cozy yet stylish vibe, with everything neatly organized by category, size, and even color! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with suggestions or locating that one special item you’re searching for. You can tell they care about the pieces they curate. What I love most is the selection – it’s a mix of classic, vintage, and trendy pieces. I found some incredible designer items at a fraction of the price you’d pay at a department store. Plus, there’s always something new to discover with their ever-changing inventory. The quality of the clothes is top-notch, and I can feel good knowing I’m shopping sustainably. Whether you’re after a statement piece or just some casual basics, they’ve got you covered. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for your next shopping spree. You’ll definitely leave with a bag full of fabulous finds and a smile on your face!

I definitely got completely lowballed here. I brought in two bags of clothes. I know that they are being selective and have a specific aesthetic that they are looking for, so I wasn’t surprised that they only selected two items. The amount they paid me for the two items was $8. The girl who helped me during the pickup didn’t know what items where selected when I asked, but I assumed that it was some of my cheaper items (side note, it should 100% be logged which items where selected and they should give the option to decline the offer based on the amount they offer for the items). But when I got home and looked through my stuff, I saw that the two items they selected where a brown leather skirt from Aritzia that I paid $200 for, and a pink knit sweater top from Aritzia that I paid $88 for. Both where in very good condition. I’m not sure what process or research they do to price items, but $4 each for those items is insane, especially when Aritzia is listed as one of their favorite brands. I’m also really sad that they didn’t tell me that is was those two items they selected, I would have tried to decline their offer.

I love this place. My first time visiting they bought most of my stuff and gave me decent money for it too. My favorite part is that they focus on what is trendy and not necessarily how old it is, like other consignment stores that won’t buy an item if it’s more than a year old even if it is style now. They have great brands in store and their little $10 rack outside always has cute finds too! Plus, the decor in this place is also super cute. Another bonus is their instagram page, which is frequently updated with what’s in store. Overall, I highly recommend this place to all my friends 🥰
