Love this store and its staff! i'm a newbie quilter (with garment sewing background) I had no idea where to start and the staff here has been very nice and extremely helpful. I love fabric and felt like a kid in a candy store here! you will feel inspired just walking in.

Truly I’ve never felt more unwelcome at any store. I hope for their sake it’s a front for some secret business bc they are so greedy to be rude and truly try to make you not want to come in. You can want to purchase a thread or notion and they will give you a run around to come back another time or hour despite being there. “They have no control” it’s a shame to see while trying to support local. This was my 4th bad experience and at this point I give up.

Stop reading reviews and just go to this store. If LA had tons of quilting shops I still believe this store would rise above the competitors. 1) gorgeous store with natural lighting - it’s an old postal building that they lovingly restored to their specific needs. It shows. This review is for the new location (white building). 2. Endlessly helpful and patient staff. I often shop with a little one in tow and they are so kind to her and help me find what I need as quickly as possible. 3. Beautiful & thoughtfully curated selection. They have many options for solids, all the major players for prints, a bunch of new brands that I assume emerged during the pandemic, wovens, etc. really lovely selection. 4. They host the LAMQG meetings so there is a communal aspect that is really valuable to all quilters. 10/10 will shop here as often as possible.

Just moved walking distance from here and it's going to be dangerous for my wallet 😁 Amazing selection of all my favorite prints - lots of ruby star, alexander henry, art gallery fabrics - plus great wovens for apparel. And they're super nice!
