I ran into a close friend of mine at a train station in north county over a year ago. I told told her my tales of woe. She brought me to compass station and I was so impressed with the professional and courteous staff. Compass station is God's Garage and we are all gods children and the people there are all angels.

Great service for assisting people and helping them get clothes. Gives people false promises and claims to give them recourses to help us get housing but doesn't. Says they give job opportunities to the homeless but only gives job opportunities to people who they play favoritism with. I've been here since July 4th of 2024 for example and they offered a job to someone who just got here in 2025 of this year. Keep in mind I do no hard drugs. I was banned the first month out of the year and unbanned after writing a apology email to Karen after waiting for the station to open 15 minutes before it opened on a day where they offer the most of there services which is on a Thursday. When confronted about why I was waiting for the station to open I was told "Does people wait for the DMV office to open this early" Where I'm from people do wait early for the DMV office to open they did help me get my birth certificate and ID though and social and now recently they are trying to ban me again after being threatened with a knife and me speaking up about it, thankfully the person that did it is in jail. For this I'm leaving a three star review simply because I've been getting false promises. No housing, no job and me apologizing for seeking help from a service that promised to help me. We need more reviews from people who experienced the service rather than "Volunteers".

I had the pleasure of volunteering with this excellent organization for 8 months. The work they do within the community of PB is nothing short of amazing. Caryn is a dedicated and hard-working leader who has made it her goal to serve those most in need in the community. While I moved to North County, I still make an effort to bring my donations here as I know how sincerely grateful the guests are to receive things such a hygiene kits, clothing, and more.
